Smart Notifications User Guide

Smart Notifications helps you stay informed without feeling overwhelmed. This guide covers everything you need to know.

Setup

After installing from the marketplace:

1. Go to Settings → Notifications → Smart Notifications
2. Choose your preferred notification channels (in-app, email, Slack)
3. Set your availability hours
4. Configure priority preferences

Priority Levels

Urgent

Notifies you immediately, regardless of settings. Use for:

• Critical mentions
• High-priority assignments
• Security alerts

Important

Notifies you during work hours. Use for:

• Direct assignments
• Deadline reminders
• Status changes you’re tracking

Normal

Batched into digests. Use for:

• General updates
• Project changes
• Team announcements

Digest Mode

Enable digest mode to receive notifications at scheduled times instead of immediately:

1. Go to Settings → Digest Mode
2. Choose frequency (hourly, 2x daily, daily)
3. Select delivery times
4. Choose which notification types to include

AI Filtering

The AI learns from your behavior:

• Muted notifications: Future similar notifications are deprioritized
• Opened notifications: Similar notifications are prioritized
• Dismissed without action: Similar notifications may be filtered

Examples

Focus Time Setup

Enable Focus Mode: 9 AM - 11 AM daily
During Focus Mode:
  - Only urgent notifications break through
  - All others queued for 11 AM digest

Team Lead Configuration

Priority Level: High
Channels: Slack + Email
Digest: Off (real-time delivery)
Exceptions: Weekends disabled
